How it works

Sign up as a provider.
Create your Trellis account and pick a tier. We'll set up your org workspace immediately. The Stripe checkout takes about 90 seconds.

Invite your team.
Add employees from the org admin dashboard — each gets their own login, their own audit-log identity, and a role you assign. Permissions are per-individual, not org-wide.
- 3.
Add families to your caseload.
Add individuals through the dashboard. Each individual you add counts against your caseload pool. The family is notified and accepts care-team membership; you choose which of your employees they share visibility with.

Coordinate.
Care notes, goals, crisis protocols, sensory profile, medication timeline, messages, calendar, journal — everyone on the care team is on the same shared workspace, with role-aware visibility on every piece of content.

These aren't marketing words. They're constraints we've built into how Trellis works for clinicians.

Your families don't pay twice.
If a family on your caseload also has their own Trellis subscription, your provider coverage gives them Growth access while you're their clinician. We don't double-charge.

Continuity if you ever leave.
If you cancel, the families on your caseload are notified and given a grace window to either subscribe directly or transition to a new clinician without losing data. We never silently downgrade their access.

No PHI ever reaches a third-party AI.
Trellis runs a 7-layer de-identification pipeline before any prompt reaches Claude. The pipeline scrubs the 18 HIPAA identifiers, validates the result, and re-identifies the response inside our boundary. The AI provider never sees a name, DOB, address, or any other identifier.

Audit log is the source of truth.
Every read, write, update, and delete on PHI lands in an immutable audit log. Family-role members can request a §164.528 disclosure log at any time. Your team can pull their own activity log for credentialing or supervisory review.

HIPAA, BAA, and the de-identification pipeline
Trellis is HIPAA-aligned end to end. We sign a Business Associate Agreement at sign-up. Every subprocessor that touches PHI is on a signed BAA. Every read and write is audited. AI features run through a 7-layer de-identification pipeline so the AI provider never sees a name, DOB, or address — and care data is never used to train models.
